There will be more than 30 exhibitors including local fly shops, outfitters, watershed groups, and conservation organizations like Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. You can watch expert fly tiers in action, check out small-group demos with Pat Dorsey, Rick Takahashi, and Marty Staab, and hear from guides, authors, and filmmakers throughout the day.There will also be a silent auction, live auction, and tons of great gear and trip packages at all price points. Markley Motors has quite the beautiful love story… spanning through four generations… from its humble beginnings founded in 1936 during the “Great Depression”… by Ferd Markley who not only was its founder but during WWII he would go on to support the war effort by helping run a local manufacturing shop producing valves for the United States Navy… This while his son (Gene) was serving in the United States Army… fighting in Europe… one of those campaigns would go down in history as “The Battle of The Bulge”… Although beat up and bruised… Thankfully returning home, to then take the helm… before his son (Doug) would then assume the role… Then he (Doug) having two daughters (Cindy and Carrie) who now host the honors… They work and Manage the dealership tirelessly in daily operations along side their husbands (Eric Baumgart General Manager married to Carrie (PHOTO) and Greg DeGroot Parts and Service Director married to Cindy)… Theirs is genuinely the true love story, meeting at an early age at the dealership falling in love, having their own families, (also being groomed in the business) to one day certainly navigate the company’s future... I am so honored and proud to work with them… While holding fast, commanding a standard of leadership excellence through personal human touch (long forgotten in today’s fast paced “all about me” society) to sustain a legacy and tradition… one of impeccable reputation that lives up to God, Family, Country.
